Dr. Kristina is originally from Moncton and has known from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2008, when she graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College. Kristina worked in a mixed animal practice in PEI for 1 year prior to moving out west and practicing in busy hospitals in Vancouver and Alberta. It was in Alberta that Kristina was able to gain a large amount of surgical experience and expertise, and learned how it was important for her to return home to her roots to own her own practice.
Kristina has performed several advanced training courses on orthopedics, and has an avid interest in anything surgery related. Dr. Kristina also has training in abdominal ultrasonography, and endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. In her spare time Kristina enjoys spending time with her family, especially daughters Emmy and Hazel, many animals, including horses, dogs, cats and chickens, and most recently, honeybees! She also enjoys gardening, kayaking, quilting, crocheting, swimming, wine, and time with friends. Kristina values your pets just like she values her own, and puts a high priority on everyone having a good experience at the vet!
