Dr. Ben’s love of animals was fostered at a young age as he was fortunate to have grown up surrounded by a number of family pets. He was drawn to the field of veterinary medicine for both the investigation aspect of veterinary medicine, and to be an advocate for those cherished pets who can’t speak for themselves. Dr. Ben graduated from the Atlantic veterinary college in 2020 and has been working in the industry since then.
Dr. Ben feels vetmed is most rewarding when there is good ongoing client communication, and he likes to follow a team-based approach that includes our hospital and your family. Dr. Ben’s interests in veterinary medicine are multiple, as he strives to be well rounded and versed in all aspects of care; but he has grown a special interest in dermatology, ophthalmology, and surgery. In his spare time Dr. Ben enjoys playing sports such as rugby, soccer, squash, and hockey. His fur babies include a retired racing greyhound, an Australian cattle dog, a small mixed breed rescue dog, and two cats
